Evan C. Nelson
Partner
Evan C. Nelson is a trial lawyer with 30 years of substantial litigation and trial experience gained from working at top law firms, as in-house corporate counsel, and as a solo practitioner. During his first 20 years of legal practice, he acted as national and regional counsel, and as first chair trial counsel, for Fortune 500 companies facing hundreds of millions of dollars in potential liabilities. After leaving the big law firm environment for the last 10 years, Evan has very successfully represented both plaintiffs and defendants prosecuting individual and small-to-mid sized business clients’ interests against public entities (government entities and actors), large corporations, and other well-funded opponents. When non-litigation efforts do not result in a fair resolution of disputes, Evan employes his extensive, high level litigation experiences and strategies to aggressively litigate client matters to position them for successful resolution through mediation, arbitration or trials.
Evan also has significant experience with post-trial motions and appeals, which further allows him to protect his clients’ interests before, during and after trial.
