Deborah Miller has worked as a paralegal and legal secretary for twenty (20) years, the last eighteen (18) of them with her current firm of Brothers Smith LLP in Walnut Creek, CA.  Deborah manages all USPTO filings including trademark applications, renewals, and other trademark maintenance filings, as well as instructing foreign counsel in applications and maintenance of international trademarks. She also provides litigation technology support in the firm.  Deborah obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, with an emphasis in Legal Studies, resulting in a Paralegal Certificate, and a Minor in Business, from California State University, Chico. Prior to joining the Firm, she was a paralegal at a firm involved with asbestos litigation.
