Dominic’s practice focuses primarily on real estate, corporate and franchise litigation. He regularly serves as litigation counsel for corporate and individual clients, and focuses on shareholder and member disputes, franchisee-franchisor disputes, commercial landlord-tenant disputes, breach of contract actions and trust litigation.
Dominic has extensive real estate litigation experience and including title insurance litigation, unlawful detainer actions, lien priority disputes, subrogation, quiet title actions and non-disclosure matters.
Dominic’s transactional work includes entity formation, mergers and acquisitions, entity reorganizations, financing transactions, sales and lease agreements and asset, stock and LLC membership interest purchase agreements, and serving as outside general counsel for corporations.
- Represented a multi-national franchisor in a lawsuit brought by a franchisee for fraud, breach of contract and violation of the California Franchise Relations Act, alleging more than a million dollars in damages. We obtained summary judgment on all claims.
- Represented a large financial institution and obtained summary judgment against a development company which sought to foreclose on a vendor’s lien against a Lake Tahoe resort which arose out of a multi-million dollar purchase agreement.
- Obtained summary judgment for a client against his neighbors who sought to extinguish an unrecorded access easement over a portion of the neighbors’ property.
Finally, Mr. Signorotti has been recognized as one of Northern California’s “Rising Stars” in the respected legal publication of Northern California Super Lawyers for the years 2014-2019.
